Get A Free Sandwich At Metro Atlanta McDonald’s On Friday

ATLANTA, GA -- Hearts and minds (and appetites) around metro Atlanta will be on the golden arches Friday, Sept. 29 as McDonald's offers free food as part of a new sandwich promotion. The one-day promotion will give one free Signature Crafted Recipes Sandwich to the first 10,000 customers when they order using UberEATS.

The partnership with Uber, the popular ride-sharing service, will allow metro Atlantans to try the new McDonald’s sandwiches at work, home or wherever they may be. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)

“We’d like our customers to savor the flavor today and beyond, with help from UberEATS,” Dave Hamilton, McDonald’s owner/operator, said in a joint statement. “I can’t think of a better treat than a free McDonald’s Signature Crafted Sandwich, loaded with delicious toppings. These sandwiches offer amazing flavors for every taste and are unlike any other sandwiches available today.”

Customers are encouraged to place McDonald’s orders via the UberEATS mobile app or on UberEATS.com, in much the same way they would do to Uber rides. Each order will be subject to a standard UberEATS delivery charge, the company said.

"We’re excited to make this special McDelivery offer available exclusively in Atlanta,” Peter Hsu, general manager for UberEATS, said in the statement. “With UberEATS, you can order McDonald’s Signature Crafted Recipes Sandwiches and so much more, when and where you want it, delivered at Uber speed.”

The sandwiches, introduced at the restaurant in May, come with various buns styles and sauces coupled with either a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, Artisan Grilled Chicken and quarter-pound 100 percent beef patty in the middle.

The restaurant says all day it is offering one Signature Crafted Recipes Sandwich per order.
