ATLANTA — Fulton County Sheriff Patrick “Pat” Labat is asking for community questions in the lead up to his first 100 days in office.

On Wednesday, April 28, Labat’s office will mark this milestone with a “100 Day Update” to be broadcast live on Fulton County Government Television (Channel 21 on Comcast in Atlanta, and Channel 23 elsewhere in Fulton County) and streaming online.

The event will introduce the Sheriff’s command staff to the public as well as new initiatives that have begun or are planned for the office. Labat also intends to highlight both continuing and new partnerships with leaders and agencies across the state and how those relationships will help optimize operations of the Sheriff’s Office.

“These first 100 days in office have been an outstanding start of what I am confident will be a long tenure of delivering top-tier service to the Fulton County community,” Labat said in a statement. “In just these short 100 days, we have made some significant changes, witnessed new beginnings and established critical partnerships. I look forward to what the future holds, and am eager to hear from the citizens on what they expect from myself, and the Sheriff’s Office as a whole.”

In soliciting questions from the public, Labat’s office has given until 12 noon on Friday, April 23, to submit their queries to fcso.communications@fultoncountyga.gov. The most frequently addressed questions will be answered live, and written responses will be sent to those who did not have their questions answered during the program.
