Man survives early morning gun blast into his home as bullet grazes his hand.

ATLANTA — Police are investigating shots fired into a southwest Atlanta man’s home early Sunday morning.

The victim was only grazed on his hand by gun blasts fired from outside his home on Honeysuckle Lane, police said.

Police were called to the home around 2 a.m., on Sunday. The victim told police he had been inside his home when he heard the gunshots. He did not realize initially that he had been shot, however.

It is unclear who fired the shots or why. No one else was injured, and the victim did not require hospitalization for his injury, police said.
