ThinkGeek Opens At Mall of Georgia

The Mall of Georgia is getting a little geekier. ThinkGeek, the online supplier of "unique products that stimulate the imagination," has opened one of its wave of new brick-and-mortar outlets at the South's biggest mall.

It is located on the mall's lower level between Belk and the food court and be ThinkGeek's first physical location in Georgia. The 2,128-square-foot shop will offers shoppers a selection of pop culture and collectible items including movies, games, books, toys, trading cards, music and more. >>> Read more.

Holiday-Season Hiring 2016: Who's Looking for a Job in Georgia?

It's hard to think about Halloween this far out, much less Christmas. But retailers, shippers and more are hiring now to fill in-demand seasonal positions across Georgia. Businesses load up on temporary employees for the end of the year to meet increased demand, especially retailers who will see their sales spike at the end of the year and need the extra muscle to keep up.

Uber, Lyft Approved For Atlanta Airport Pickup

Uber and Lyft were approved for pickup at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by the city council on Monday. Drivers with ride-sharing services will be able to pick up passengers beginning Jan. 1, 2017.

The proposal that was approved by the city council requires the companies to use privately provided background checks instead of fingerprints. >>> Read more.
