Home Depot, Lowe’s: Hardware Stores Open Labor Day In Atlanta

ATLANTA — Whether it’s preparing for the start of a fall project or wrapping up a summer one, Labor Day weekend in Atlanta is sure to be a popular time to get some stuff done around the house.

Many home improvement and hardware stores in and around Atlanta know this, as nearly all will be open for either regular or extended hours during the end-of-summer three-day weekend.

Home Depot stores will be open, encouraging homeowners to take on backyard projects before temperatures start dropping. The Atlanta-based national home improvement store chain has sales posted on its website, and offers tips on starting do-it-yourself fall projects. (Summer doesn’t actually end until Sept. 22).
