I-85 Car Crash Results In Injuries, Heavy Traffic
Five people were injured Wednesday in a car accident on Interstate-85 near Senoia Road.
FAIRBURN, GA — Drivers going south on I-85 near exit 61/Senoia Road were being redirected Wednesday, following a car crash with injuries, according to media reports.
Channel 2 Action News reported five people were injured in the accident, three of whom were in "very serious condition," the outlet reported.
One person who was injured had to be airlifted, the outlet reported.

Lanes have reopened, but an alert from the Georgia Department of Transportation Wednesday asked drivers to take alternate routes and allow extra traveling time in the area. The department said there was congestion in the area.
