Katy Perry World Tour Will Stop In Atlanta In December: ICYMI

ATLANTA, GA -- Metro Atlantans are getting an early Christmas gift right before the holidays: Katy Perry is coming to Atlanta in December, the singer announced Monday. The December 12 Atlanta concert is part of Perry's world tour, which will wind through 43 cities beginning in Ohio in September.

The tour will be in support of Perry's new album "Witness," which will be released June 9. Two singles from the effort – the platinum-certified “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley and the follow-up single, “Bon Appétit” featuring Atlanta rap group Migos, figure to be featured prominently in her concerts.

The "California Gurls" artist will partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to donate tickets to club members and volunteers. Fans who are involved in Boys & Girls Clubs can sign up at GlobalCitizen.org for a chance to earn some free tickets, according to Perry's website. One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
