Abducted Toddler Found Safe, Father On The Run
1-year-old Baylee Sue Peeples was abducted early Thursday morning by her father, according to police.
ARCADE, GA -- A one-year-old girl who police said was abducted early Thursday morning by her father was found safe in Gwinnett County later in the afternoon. Police said Baylee Sue Peeples was left in the care of some family members in Gwinnett County by Robert Joseph Peeples, 39, who is still being sought by police.
Baylee was abducted from Jackson County, northeast of metro Atlanta.
Police are still looking for Robert Peeples' vehicle, described as a a white 1993 GMC Vandura with a Georgia tag.

Robert Peeples weighs around 187 pounds and stands about 5'10" tall with blue eyes and blonde hair in a buzz cut. Baylee is reported to be healthy and in good condition.

She told me her daughter’s father was dropping them off at home & when she tried to get Baylee out of the car seat.. he told her no you will never see her again & drove off. The GBI said Peeples' last cell phone was pinged around I-85 at Spaghetti Junction in DeKalb County.
