Man Sought After Dunwoody Woman Is Punched In The Face: ICYMI

Police in Dunwoody are asking for the public to help them find the man who assaulted a woman at a Dunwoody apartment complex.

DUNWOODY, GA -- Police in Dunwoody are asking the public's help in finding a "person of interest" who punched a woman in the face recently at an apartment complex. The assault happened July 10 at the Bell Perimeter Apartment complex located at 60 Perimeter Center East.
The woman was disposing of some household waste in a complex trash chute when she encountered a man already inside the trash disposal room, authorities said. "Without provocation, the male punched her in the side of the face and fled the scene on foot," Dunwoody police said in a Facebook post. The victim in the case is not being named by police.

The man is listed as a "person of interest" so far and is described as a white male with blue eyes and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, police said.
