Man Wanted In NW Atlanta Murder Arrested In Ohio

A suspect wanted in connection with an April fatal shooting that took place in Fulton County was arrested in Ohio.

FULTON COUNTY, GA — A suspect wanted in connection with an April murder in Atlanta was arrested in Ohio on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Jason Hall, 40, was arrested just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Hall was wanted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated murder charges. He was accused of shooting and killing 21-year-old Corey Blount Jr. on April 30, according to officials.

Blount was struck by four bullets and died at the scene, according to the U.S. Marshal’s office.

Task force members received a tip that Hall fled Atlanta and was potentially living in Cleveland, officials said.
