MARTA Bus Sideswipes Car Speeding Through Red Light: Reports
Video footage shows MARTA bus slamming into a car that ran a red light over the weekend.
ATLANTA — Video footage of a MARTA bus slamming into a car speeding through an intersection is the talk of the town.
Saturday night just after 10 p.m., social media footage featured on WAGA Fox 5 captured a bus colliding with the car apparently running a red light at the cross-section of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and Central Avenue in Southwest Atlanta.
The bus slammed into the Mitsubishi Eclipse and pushed it sideways down the street for several hundred yards.

The driver was not injured and there were no passengers on board, according to independent news source ATLscoops.
The driver was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries. It is unclear what, if any, charges she faces.
