Chiemere Poole was shot and killed in a domestic dispute between another woman and the father of that woman's child, police said.
ATLANTA — A mother was arrested and charged with murder Tuesday evening in connection with a deadly domestic dispute, police said.
Andrea Rivers, 43, was charged with murder and three counts of aggravated assault with intent to murder, according to police and jail records.
Police were called to an apartment on Thomasville Boulevard in southeast Atlanta shortly after 9 a.m., on Tuesday. Officers arrived to find a man and woman there both with gunshot wounds. The woman, 33-year-old Chiemere Poole of Atlanta, died at the scene of her injuries, but the man was taken to an area hospital to be treated.

Atlanta Police Major D’Andrea Price said investigators believe the argument started about items taken from the apartment related to River’s and the male victim’s shared child.
“She was actually asked to leave the apartment and was leaving the apartment … when gunfire was exchanged,” Price said.
