ATLANTA, GA — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 south killed a person and injured six others Friday afternoon near Howell Mill Road, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Cars were maneuvering around a stalled Pontiac when two Freightliners crashed into the car, leading to a chain reaction crash, 11Alive reported.
The scene of the deadly crash was near where I-75 merges with Interstate 85 in Midtown, the AJC reported.

The state traffic alert system 511GA first issued an advisory around 2 p.m., indicating all lanes on I-75 had been blocked.
The person who died was not identified.
