  1. The Netflix Family Summer truck is coming to Atlanta! On Jul. 31, the truck will be at The Battery; on Aug. 1, it will be at Central Library and South Fulton Branch Library. The truck will be hosting promotional giveaways at both locations. (CBS 46 News)
  2. A metro Atlanta teen survived a fiery plane crash last week. Siena Kamal, 17, was on a private plane from Detroit with her aunt, uncle, and dog, when the plane crashed in Michigan. All three people and Charlie, the dog, survived the crash. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Police are searching for suspects responsible for multiple Midtown car break-ins on Jul. 17. A total of 19 car break-ins were reported in a Midtown neighborhood and police have video capturing the suspects committing the crime. None of the people in the video have been identified as of Wednesday evening. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  4. A man was hit by a train and killed on Tuesday evening. Police say the man was reportedly walking along a set of elevated tracks with another and did not have time to jump away from the train before it struck. As of Wednesday evening, the deceased man's identity has not been released, but he is around 45 years of age. (WSB Atlanta)
  5. The Reid, a 185-unit multifamily community, is in the works on Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown. Toro Development Company closed on the 1.64-acre parcel to develop on Wednesday. Neighbors to the new community are Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail and Home Grown. (What Now Atlanta)
