Shoppers Flee Atlanta's Lenox Square Mall; No Shots Fired
Shoppers reported fleeing the mall on Saturday afternoon and police said there was a large fight at the location.

ATLANTA, GA — Shoppers fled from the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta Saturday afternoon after a mistaken report of shots fired at the location. Police said no shots were fired at the mall.
An Atlanta police spokesperson told Patch that there was a large fight at the location and everyone involved in the fight has since fled the location.
"Officers are on scene and working to restore order while searching for suspects," police said.

Police responded to the mall at 2:15 p.m. in reference to the fight but the call was originally reported as a shots fired incident, cops said.
"This information was not correct," police said in a statement. "There were no shots fired."

The fight broke out between two people near the Checker's in the mall. No injuries have been reported.
Panicked shoppers fled the mall as some believed shots were fired at the location.
The mall is located at 3393 Peachtree Road in the Buckhead section of Atlanta.
