Here are the top five stories today in Atlanta:
- Metro Atlanta warehouse workers are accusing Amazon of unfair labor practices. The East Point warehouse workers announced Wednesday they were filing an official complaint against the company. One employee says he was wrongfully terminated after signing a recent petition to increases wages and that the company discriminated against his illness. (WSB Radio)
- The City of Atlanta could see more green energy as city leaders could take advantage of federal funding through the Inflation Reduction Act. In addition, African American mayors can get equitable access to that funding through a nationwide effort from the African American Mayors Association. (WSB Atlanta)
- Police found a woman stabbed to death in a Northwest Atlanta home over the weekend after an hours-long standoff with a man at the residence. Neighbors reported safety concerns at the home and police responded to find a barricade situation. SWAT was able to arrest the man after several hours of negotiating. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Charges have been dropped against rapper Lil Durk (Derick Banks) who had been arrested in connection with a 2019 shooting outside of The Varsity in Atlanta. The rapper's lawyer issued the following statement: “While it took three years for the State to make the right decision, in the end the right decision was made and Mr. Banks can finally put this event behind him.” (WSB Atlanta)
- Highland Row Antiques will close its doors on Dec. 18. The business on North Highland Avenue has been in business almost two decades but says their decision has come after a rent increase of 450 percent. Highland Row Antiques wrote on Facebook, "We’ve always felt we’ve had the best customers in the world and will truly miss each and every one of you." (What Now Atlanta)

- President Jimmy Carter's face has been brought to the Carter Center’s Presidential Library in Atlanta thanks to a California sculptor. A bronze bust, three times the actual size of the former president, can be seen at the center. (WSB Atlanta)
