Person On MARTA Tracks Near Atlanta Airport Caused Delays
North and southbound trains from the Atlanta airport to College Park experienced delays Thursday afternoon when someone was on the tracks.

ATLANTA, GA — A person on the tracks Thursday afternoon prompted MARTA to shut down both North and Southbound tracks from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to College Park.
Airport officials said the trespassing situation has ended and trains will return to their normal schedules soon. Initially, MARTA announced around 2 p.m. that due to an emergency at the airport, bus service would be provided from the airport to College Park.
From the airport, passengers were told to board from the south terminal, MARTA said. In College Park, boarded from the south bus bay. Delays occurred on the North and South lines.
