But not everyone is a fan of the colorful addition to West Midtown.

"I hate the #PinkTrapHouse," Greenforest Community Baptist Church Youth Pastor Al Hollie Jr recently posted to his Facebook page. "Its very disappointing that our African American Brothers and Sisters are excited to take pictures in front of the Pink TRAP house . Though it's not a real Trap House, the representation of the Trap House is responsible for destroying the black community."

Some neighbors have also told local media that they are not too pleased at the added attention their neighborhood has gotten.

2 Chainz recently posted about the pink trap house on his Instagram, showing the home's interior. He said that the video gave a glimpse of "something seldom shown .. art, kids, music, good vibes, inspiration, etc. The word TRAP is and was associated with a negative connotation We will see after we get thru (sic) injected some cultural ideas (that) the move the needle inch by inch."
