Police Looking For Gunman Who Shot Woman And Uber Driver In Atlanta
Atlanta police are searching for a man who robbed an Uber driver. Authorities released photos taken from security video of the suspect.
ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta police released images over the weekend of a man who they said shot a woman then an Uber driver in northwest Atlanta recently. The woman was shot in the face.
“We have been able to link the vehicle that was involved in the accident, that young lady and the shooter we observed them at a store they left that store together," Lt. Ricardo Vazquez said, according to news reports.
"We have no reason to believe the Uber driver or Uber had anything to do with the other incident between the shooting suspect and the female,” said Vazquez, according to WGCL-TV.

The man is seen with a purple shirt and a baseball cap turned backward on his head.
The suspect is further described as being around 6 feet tall and in his early 30s. His last known whereabouts were on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard near the Hamilton E. Holmes area.
