This Restaurant Has GA's Best Cheap Eats, New Ranking Says

GEORGIA — The best cheap eats in Georgia are found at Panbury’s Double Crust Pies in Atlanta, according to a new analysis of budget eateries in 500 U.S. cities.

The Best Spot for Cheap Eats in Every State considers both menu pricing and Yelp customer reviews, was compiled by online lender CashNetUSA.

Overall, customers gave Georgia’s Panbury’s 4.82 stars on a 5.0 scale.

Panbury’s, at 209 Edgewood Ave., is considered America’s first South African pie eatery, according to its website.

The restaurant serves a southern breakfast pie, chicken tikka masala pie, steak and stout pie and chicken and bacon pie, among others. Vegetarian options are available, as well as sweets.
