Reward Doubles For Man Accused Of Shooting 2 Georgia Deputies
The Georgia Bureau of investigation is actively searching for Tyler Keith Henderson. He's accused of shooting two Thomas County deputies.

THOMAS COUNTY, GA — The reward for a man accused of shooting two Georgia deputies earlier this week has gotten even bigger, law enforcement officials confirm.
According to the Georgia Bureau of investigation, Tyler Keith Henderson shot two Thomas County Sheriff’s Office deputies around midnight Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 in Ochlocknee, Ga. His whereabouts remain unknown.
The U.S. Marshals Service originally offered a $5,000 reward for any tips leading to Henderson's arrest. According to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office, that amount now stands at $10,000.

"Henderson is a convicted felon and is no stranger to the law. His current Facebook shows a previous wanted poster. We will find Henderson and bring him to justice," the Thomas County Sheriff's Office posted to its official Facebook page three hours after the shooting.
The Thomas County Sheriff's Office said that Henderson also "tried to kill" a third deputy but didn't elaborate further. The two deputies who were shot are currently in stable condition and expected to be OK.

No information has been released regarding what led to the shooting.
In the meantime, the sheriff's office said it is actively following leads and is asking the public's help.

Henderson is described as a white man, 5’10” in height, 212 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. Authorities said he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored jogging pants and light-colored tennis shoes. He also has visible tattoos on his arms and neck.
