Sex Trafficker Sentenced To Life Without Parole Plus 75 Years

Christopher Jackson lured the victim to Atlanta and sold her for sex to men along Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

ATLANTA — A man has been sentenced to life in jail without the possibility of parole, plus 75, for luring a woman to Atlanta and then selling her for sex. Christopher Jackson, 56, was convicted on multiple counts of assault, rape, kidnapping and other charges by a Fulton County Superior Court.

In the summer of 2017, Jackson met a 33-year-old woman on social media and began to have an online relationship with her. The woman believed she was in a serious romantic relationship with Jackson, and the two communicated frequently via text and social media. On September 9, 2017, Jackson invited the woman to visit him in Atlanta. The woman agreed and traveled to Atlanta via bus. When she arrived, Jackson greeted her and called for a taxi cab, which the woman thought was strange because the defendant had promised to buy her a BMW and present her with the car upon arrival in Atlanta.

Jackson asked the driver of the taxi to transport them to Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Jackson and the 33-year-old female exited the vehicle at a gas station along FIB, at which point, the defendant brandished a handgun which was lodged in the waistband of his pants. He then said, “You will need to kill someone or turn tricks to prove you are not the (police.)”

Jackson threatened the victim and told her to start walking. As they approached the intersection of FIB and Frederick Drive, the defendant flagged down “johns” to pay for sexual services to be performed by the victim. Jackson forced the woman into an abandoned warehouse and the trucks of a number of men where she performed oral sex for cash. The “johns” paid the defendant $20 for the victim’s sexual services. This continued for several hours until Jackson and the victim were picked up by a friend of Jackson's.

When Jackson and the victim arrived at his apartment along Godby Road, Jackson told her to take a shower. Afterward, Jackson raped the woman, then left and locked her in the room. The victim called her friend and her mother who then called police. The victim was rescued by responding officers along the side of Godby Road after managing to escape the defendant’s apartment.
