Singer Sammie Arrested In Atlanta Ahead Of ONE Musicfest: Reports
Sammie, a 38-year-old mainstream vocalist, still hit the ONE Musicfest stage after being arrested in Atlanta, media reports say.
ATLANTA, GA — Longtime singer Sammie is facing serious charges after recently being arrested in Atlanta, recent media reports said.
The "I Like It" singer, whose real name is Sammie Bush, was arrested on charges of battery and cruelty to children sometime before his ONE Musicfest set, both the Shade Room and Rolling Out reported. ONE Musicfest, an Atlanta concert staple, was held Saturday and Sunday in Piedmont Park.
The 38-year-old vocalist hit the stage as scheduled after being released on a $1,050 bond in Henry County, reports say. However, the timeline between his arrest and performance was foggy.

Formerly a childhood singer, Bush is now a member of the four-man singing sensation RSVP. The group also includes artists Ray J, Bobby Valentino and Pleasure P.
Bush is known for hits "You Should Be My Girl" and "Come With Me." His work was celebrated during a June 2022 Verzuz that consisted of his former group members and that showcased musicians Omarion and Mario.
