Let’s reflect on Southern Soul, and its sub-genres Trailride, Line Dance, and Hip Hop, music that is blazing Worldwide!

So, we can now hear Southern Soul” airing on terrestrial platforms! This is great news for all who have remained dedicated to the journey!

The year “2025” will be known as the “Revolution Period” of “Southern Soul” Music. With the mixture of “Trailride,” “Zydeco,” “Line Dancing, Steppers with the Culture Fans,” and Hip Hop. But let’s remember all are “separate” sub-genres that are often combined in the music of Southern Soul (SS).

The SS genre continues to evolve with our local civic leaders booking many artists and industry leaders who promote our culture “SS,” and the music is “now” specifically designed to include both the older and younger demographics. In addition, we all tend to appreciate line dancing, rodeo style theme events, and live music shows.

• Why has the music industry begin to reinvent streaming music online?****
• Where are our legendary “Soul/Blues, Southern Soul Artists,” have these artists blended into one of the sub-genres?!
• Many Podcasters want to know is there a benefit for streaming “music” online?
• Online Streaming: to everyone with a desire “please note” we seriously don’t need anymore “radio platforms or podcasts.” However, if you should pursue - please keep your platform professional with relevant content, or you will not be seen as revolutionary!
• Facebook has changed to “LIVE” Streaming which will limit storage to 30 Days and deleting prior “LIVE” streams from its platform. Keep streaming “LIVE” podcasts.

The genre of “SS” music has been streaming for years however its the latest craze with “Rodeos,” “Cowboy Boots,” Trailrides,” “Juke,” and “Hip Hop” influences that has the sub-genre affiliates popping across the country.

The industry is excited about the re-creation of the 1990s hip hop rappers, cowboy boots, and line dancing, in building a brand and music legacy for our future generations. It is predicted following the cowboy boots and culture fans, next up “Trap Music” will invade “SS” and change the game yet again because all formats of music is streamed in this market!

As we look towards the future of the “SS” many industry experts suggest the genre has never, nor will it ever be able to flourish alone. Additionally, promoters nowadays rarely mentions “Soul/Blues or Blues,” when promoting events which previously catered exclusively to an older demographic.

Today across America there are award shows, concerts, music conferences, and events that are held and popping up simultaneously. All indicating they are affiliated with “SS,” but in reality they are not associated specifically with the “Southern Soul Music” Movement.

Our world has become a digital empire! We are living in a digital world where everyone should be self sufficient and able to manifest and develop themselves. Basically, if it doesn’t elevate both entities, then don’t consider the partnership.
