Stacey Abrams Cameos On 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 4 Finale

ATLANTA, GA — So, second-time Georgia gubernatorial candidate and voter rights activist Stacey Abrams did a thing.

Abrams, a self-proclaimed Trekkie, played a pivotal, albeit minor role in the season finale of Star Trek: Discovery.

She had lines and portrayed the 32nd century’s President of United Earth.

Talk about projecting your future self.

Evidently, those on the set were Abrams fans.

“I’m still floored when I think about Stacey gracing us with her presence in our Season 4 finale,” star Sonequa Martin-Green told Deadline.

Showrunner Michelle Paradise told IndieWire she just couldn’t stop pinching herself watching the episode.

“Honestly, the number of times I’ve seen the episode, every time I see her face, I’m like, ‘Wow, that really happened. That’s awesome,'” she gushed.

So what’s next for Abrams?

Well, we know what she’s gunning for in November. But after that, might we see her again where no woman or man has gone before?
