Threatening Note Found On Dallas-Bound Flight At Atlanta Airport

Police have given the all-clear and said no threat was found on the plane.

ATLANTA, GA — Police have given the all-clear after a threatening note was found on an American Airlines flight at Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Saturday morning.

Passengers on the flight, which was headed to Dallas, had to leave the plane and were rescreened and police conducted a security sweep of the aircraft.

Police said no threat was found and no arrests have been made.

A temporary ground stop was in effect at the airport but has since been lifted.

"Thank you for your patience as we worked to ensure the security of passengers at our airport," police said.
