VIDEO: Wild Brawl Breaks Out At East Atlanta Apartment Complex
The video shows dozens of people fighting outside an apartment complex not far from Zoo Atlanta.
ATLANTA -- Police are investigating a wild brawl that broke out over the weekend at an apartment complex near Zoo Atlanta. A video of the fight was posted on Instagram, in which dozens of people are shown fighting each other. Children are also involved in the melee at the Forest Cove Apartments on New Town Circle, with sticks and baseball bats being used.
Atlanta police sent this statement to Patch: “The Department has been working to address problems at this apartment complex for many years. APD has worked to assign more resources to the community, and will continue to do so. The disturbing actions depicted in this video are unacceptable and are compounded by a lack of cooperation by witnesses when officers arrived on the scene. Investigators are working to identify the individuals depicted in this video."
Police have made no arrests in the case, and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
