'Walking Dead' Actor Moses J. Moseley Dies At 31

Moses J. Moseley appeared as a pet zombie on "The Walking Dead," a popular TV show filmed in the Atlanta area.

ATLANTA, GA — A Georgia actor who portrayed a zombie on "The Walking Dead" has died. Moses J. Moseley was 31 years old.

Cheryl Kaleda of Premier Talent confirmed in an email to The Associated Press that Moses J. Moseley died Jan. 23 but gave no further details.

“For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you would ever meet,” Moseley's agents said in a statement. “We will miss him dearly!”

Moseley appeared in the AMC series “The Walking Dead” as a pet zombie kept by the character Michonne, played by Danai Gurira. His other credits included parts on the USA series “Queen of the South” and HBO’s “Watchmen.”

Following news of his death, actors from the show took to social media to express their condolences.

"Although I am sad and angry, there are many that loved brother Moses J. Mosley best. My #TWD brother was a gentle spirit and radiated pure positivity each time I saw him," said Iron Singleton who played Theodore "T-Dog" Douglas on the show.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley," a Twitter post from the "The Walking Dead" reads.

A family member told TMZ that police found Moseley's body Wednesday in the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge. Police are said to be investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
