  1. The Thanksgiving holiday brought much traffic to the metro area, resulting in numerous accidents. According to Georgia State Patrol, 15 deadly accidents resulted in 18 deaths over the five-day weekend. A total of 590 crashes occurred throughout the state, injuring 300 people. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. Volunteers at Feeding GA Families' caught a car-chase suspect on Monday. The manager, William Joyner, who also happens to be an army veteran, was able to hold the suspect, Jordan Shelley, 20, at gunpoint until the police arrived. Shelley and James Green, 21, initially fled police in a stolen car and crashed it into a bus stop – Green was taken in by police immediately while Shelley ran. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  3. If your go-to Chick-fil-A location is Peachtree at Collier across from Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, you might need to find a new location soon. According to a company news release, the busy metro Atlanta location will be undergoing construction for an undetermined amount of time in the new year. The $3 million upgrade will include a second drive-thru lane, a larger kitchen, and permanent canopies. (WSB Atlanta)
  4. Former U.S. President Barack Obama is appearing in metro Atlanta today to host a rally supporting Sen. Raphael Warnock. The rally, in support of Sen. Warnock's seat, will be held at Pullman Yards in the Kirkwood neighborhood at 4:30 p.m. (The Atlanta Voice)
  5. A woman stole a tow truck on Tuesday morning in Atlanta. Footage showed a woman stealing a tow truck while the roadside assistance driver was helping a customer change a tire. The theft occurred at a Shell gas station on Metropolitan Parkway, and police are still looking for the suspect. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
