With another school year under way in Georgia, police across the state are reminding drivers to watch for youngsters daring into traffic and that illegally passing school buses stopped for loading and unloading of children carries a hefty fine.

It is against the law for a car to pass a bus that is stopped with its lights flashing and stop-sign arm extended. Police are reminding drivers that traffic in both directions must stop for a school bus if there is no dividing median on the road.

Was someone working black magic against the men and women in blue? In the coastal, south Georgia town of Tybee Island, it looks like that might have been the case.
