Woman Escaped From Gwinnett Mental Facility Shot In Atlanta
Police continue to investigate how the woman escaped and made her way from Gwinnett to Atlanta.
ATLANTA — An escapee from a Gwinnett County mental facility was shot in downtown Atlanta early Wednesday morning, according to reports.
Channel 2 Action News is reporting that the woman was throwing bricks at people on Forsyth Street around midnight on Wednesday.
Someone shot the woman in the leg, although the suspect is unclear, according to reports.
