Woman Suspected Of DUI Crashes Car In Atlanta Police Chase: Report

ATLANTA, GA -- A woman who led patrol cars on a brief police chase before wrecking her car early Thursday has been arrested for driving under the influence, according to news reports.

The woman, who has not been identified, crashed her car about 4 a.m. in southwest Atlanta on interstate 20 going eastbound at the I-75/85 interchange, according to WGCL.

While police officers pulled the woman over she exited the car but jumped back in and sped off, which led to a chase, the TV station reports. She soon lost control of her car and crashed, police said.
