The event honored a number of women executive leaders from metro Atlanta, including Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Meria J. Carstarphen, who delivered the keynote address. Guests also heard a heartfelt testimonial from Daisha Fitzgerald, a formerly homeless parent who is back on her feet thanks to help from the Atlanta Children's Shelter programs.
Proceeds from The luncheon will help provide 10 homeless children with one-year scholarships as well as give 25 homeless women an opportunity to receive job skills training, empowerment, financial literacy, and job placement for one year.
