Woodward Academy Student Poem Published in Spanish Magazine

COLLEGE PARK, GA – A poem written by Woodward Academy senior Samantha Seidel has been printed in the November 2016 edition of Albricias magazine published by the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH)—the Spanish National Honor Society. The theme of the November issue is "El español de los Estados Unidos" (Spanish of the United States).

Samantha's poem entitled "En mis paises," was written last year in Señora Stanyard's AP Spanish Language and Culture class, artfully celebrates her personal story of being a United States citizen of Mexican heritage.
The magazine contains essays, poetry, and short articles as well as photography and artwork created by student members of the SHH. Albricias is distributed to chapter sponsors two times per year and is permanently archived on the website. Click here to read Samantha's poem and works by other students across the country.
