- A young boy was killed in a hit-and run incident in Atlanta. The nine-year-old by was struck in the 300 block of Cleveland Avenue. The boy was out walking around 6:30 p.m. when he was struck. He later died at the hospital from his injuries. (Atlanta Patch)
- Officials from the National Weather Service have confirmed that a tornado touched down in the metro Atlanta area. During heavy storms on Tuesday night, a tornado hit Sullivan Road in Coweta County. There was some property damage, as well as fallen trees and downed power wires. The entire area remains under a tornado watch as of this writing. (FOX 5 Atlanta)

- A downtown Walgreens has been the victim of a smash-and-grab burglary. Located on Peachtree Street, the Walgreens had its front window smashed by an unknown suspect with a cinderblock. The man stole five bottles of wine before fleeing the scene. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
