40 Under 40 Submissions Needed

In what is probably one of the most ambitious and what I hope to be the most enjoyable projects we've undertaken, Brookhaven Patch will be recognizing our community's 40 under 40 - that is 40 people under 40 years old who are the most fascinating, most unique and most influential neighbors we have.

Thing is, I don't know all of them, and I thought it'd be fun to solicit your help in this.

I've created a simple form for you to complete with your nominee's information and why you feel this person should be included in the gallery. While there is no limit to the number of people you may nominate, there is no guarantee that the person you submit will be chosen. You may also nominate yourself. Your nomination could include someone who lives and/or work in Brookhaven and Chamblee.

The deadline for nominations is Feb. 17 at 11:59 p.m. The 40 under 40 list will be published on March 1.

I'm so excited about this project because it's always fun learning what our neighbors and peers are doing and I want Brookhaven Patch to be the place where we not only obtain the latest news, information and events happening in our neighborhood, but also to celebrate our neighbors. Between you and I, the most prolific, intelligent and interesting people in Metro Atlanta live and work in Brookhaven and Chamblee, so I'm expecting a stream of nominations to come rolling in.  This shouldn't be hard work.

So, get your nominations in, pass the word and keep your eyes open for the first ever Brookhaven and Chamblee 40 under 40 list.
