Artists, Volunteer Judges Invited to 'Paint the Park'

Brookaven's second annual "Paint the Park" event takes place September 17.

BROOKHAVEN, GA - Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to the city's second annual "Paint the Park" at Blackburn Park on Saturday, September 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteer judges are also needed.
To illustrate the importance of civic art, once the pieces are completed they will be displayed in the park visible from Ashford-Dunwoody Road until the event closes. The winning pieces will then be on display at City Hall.

Art supplies and paper will be provided, but feel free to bring your own easel and canvas if you wish, and let the natural surroundings inspire you! Cool treats and prizes will also be part of the fun.
