Award-winning Pianist Serhiy Salov in Concert at Oglethorpe University

Acclaimed pianist Serhiy Salov will perform at the Conant Performing Arts Center at   on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 8 p.m.  Salov is the Silver Medal winner of the 2010 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, one of the most prestigious programs of its kind.

According to a ress release, Salov will perform Chopin’s Sonata no. 2 op. 35, Nocturne in D flat major op. 27 no. 2, and Polonaise-Fantaisie op. 61; Stravinsky’s “Petrushka”, Burlesque Scenes in Four Tableaux (arranged for solo piano by S. Salov); and, Ravel’s La Valse: poeme choregraphique pour orchestre.

General admission tickets are $10 and will be available at the door on the night of the performance, starting at 7 p.m.
