Brookhaven Announces 2nd Hispanic Citizen’s Police Academy
Classes will be held one night a week for 10 weeks beginning March 2.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Qualifying residents of Brookhaven are invited to join in the Second Hispanic Citizen’s Police Academy, police announced Friday.
The classes will be held one night a week for 10 weeks beginning March 2, the Brookhaven Police Department said.
The Citizen’s Police Academy will educate residents on the ins and outs of police work in the city, including an overview of the various crime prevention programs.

“This is a great opportunity to enhance the relationship between our police department and the Spanish-speaking citizens of Brookhaven”, Deputy Chief of Police Juan Grullon said.

When: Every Thursday from 7 – 9:30 p.m. beginning on March 2 until May 4, 2017

People who either work or live in the city are invited to sign up. The class is free.
