Brookhaven Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested In Atlanta
Police say the man gave a teller a note, demanding money and stating no one would get hurt if he was given the money.
BROOKHAVEN, GA — A man accused of robbing a Peachtree Road bank Monday has been arrested, Brookhaven Police said.
A man entered the bank and passed a note to a teller, demanding money and stating no one would be hurt if he was given the money, police said.
The teller gave the man cash, and the man fled the scene, police said. The man did not show a weapon, and no one was injured, police said.

Police said officers responding to a hold-up alarm found customers outside and the bank's doors locked when they arrived to the scene.
Officers got a detailed description of the man from surveillance video and issued a lookout to authorities in surrounding areas, police said.

The MARTA Police Department found the man at the Garnett Station in Atlanta, and the man was arrested without incident, police said.
Police identified the man as Carvell Brown. He was charged on suspicion of robbery and was taken to the DeKalb County Jail, police said. Jail records show Brown was arrested Monday and remained incarcerated Wednesday.
