73 Displaced, Homes Destroyed In Brookhaven Blaze: Reports
Two days before Thanksgiving, two media outlets reported a fire burnt homes at a Brookhaven apartment complex.
BROOKHAVEN — Residents of the Atlantic at Brookhaven Apartments are safe after a fire early Tuesday destroyed six homes and caused smoke and water damage to six others two days ahead of Thanksgiving, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
There were no injuries in the fire, which happened around 3 a.m. near Windmont Drive, the outlet reported.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported 73 residents were displaced due to the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced, the outlet reported.
