Brookhaven Celebrates City Hall Selfie Day On Tuesday

Residents are encouraged to mingle with elected officials and staff on City Hall Selfie Day, set for Aug. 15.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Brookhaven residents are invited to come out in front of City Hall and take selfies as part of "City Hall Selfie Day," a national online movement sponsored by the Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL).

Residents are encouraged to share their City Hall Selfies on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using the hashtag #CityHallSelfie. They can also tag @gacities (Twitter), @Georgia Municipal Association (Facebook) and/or @ELGL.

“Participating in City Hall Selfie day is fun and offers an opportunity for civic engagement,” Communications Director Burke Brennan said in a news release. “This is a great opportunity for residents and city employees to come out and show Brookhaven pride.”
