Brookhaven Chosen For U.S. Health Study
Interviewers will conduct door-to-door survey beginning on Feb. 16 as part of effort by National Center for Health Statistics.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Residents of Brookhaven may be getting some door knocks from people inquiring about their sugar consumption and the like. Don't worry, it'll just be the door-to-door National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which is designed to gauge the overall health of Americans.
Brookhaven was selected as a participating city for the survey, which is conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
From Feb. 16 to April 28, residents of randomly selected households will be asked to take part in a brief questionnaire at their doorstep. The information will be used for demographic data.
