Brookhaven City Council Meeting, 'Kids Night In' Is Wednesday This Week

Brookhaven City Council changes meeting night due to Passover. "Kids Night In" also moves.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Because of Passover, the Brookhaven City Council has moved its work session and regular business meeting to Wednesday, April 12, the city announced.

The move means "Kids Night In," a pilot Parks & Recreation Department program designed to allow Brookhaven parents the opportunity to attend City Council meetings, will be Wednesday as well this week only.

Since it was announced earlier this year, Kids Night In has been successfully received by local residents. The program includes workshops and other fun-filled activities aimed at children ages 5 to 12, the city said.
