BROOKHAVEN, GA — Brookhaven elections are around the corner, and three seats, including mayor, are up for the vote. Election day is Nov. 5.

Mayor John Ernst is challenged by Jennifer Heath. The city council's district one seat is uncontested, so Linley Jones will remain in the seat. The city council's district three seat, however, is contested, with two candidates facing off.
