Brookhaven Food Truck Roundup Returns May 15
The Brookhaven Food Truck Roundup will run every Wednesday from May 15 through Oct. 2.
BROOKHAVEN, GA -- The Brookhaven Food Truck Roundup, now entering its sixth season, returns to Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, on May 15. By changing the food trucks’ location this year to the north end of the park near the Blackburn Pavilion, the event now has the added bonus of bordering a brand-new playground to provide entertainment for the youngsters.
“Just like last year, we are not going to take a summer break this year. Once we start on Wednesday, May 15, we will continue every Wednesday until Oct. 2,” said Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden. Foodies can once again expect between 8 to 10 food truck dining options, a beer and wine tent, live entertainment and a bounce house and other activities for children from 6-9 p.m. every Wednesday throughout the program.
The event series, first launched in 2013, has been successful throughout its first five years. “We expect 2019 will be the best year ever for our residents at Blackburn Park,” added Borden.

“The Food Truck Roundup is a great way to spend a Wednesday evening at the park, but more importantly it helps foster a strong sense of community. Brookhaven residents can come out to enjoy the parks, to socialize with friends and neighbors, and to meet new people,” said Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst.
