Brookhaven Lawyer Dies In Custody Of DeKalb Jail: ICYMI
Ali F. Morad, 51, suffered a "medical emergency" in DeKalb's jail last month. He died at the hospital.

DECATUR, GA -- DeKalb County authorities are investigating the death of a Brookhaven man who died in custody two weeks ago. The man was a lawyer who was recently disbarred, Patch has learned.
Ali F. Morad, 51, was arrested May 10 on felony aggravated stalking charges, the DeKalb Sheriff's Office said. Morad remained in jail for two weeks until May 26, when he "suffered a medical emergency," the office said in a news release.
Morad was taken to the jail’s main medical unit, where he got some assistance. He was then rushed to DeKalb Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
