Chamblee Plaza to Debut Redevelopment Plan Thursday

The meeting will be held at the 57th Fighter Restaurant, 3829 Clairmont Road, from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Developers will debut their preliminary site plan for a new and improved Chamblee Plaza on Thursday.

Atlanta-based Trinity Development Group will hold the meeting at the 57th Fighter Restaurant, 3829 Clairmont Road, from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

David Henzlik, managing partner of Trinity Development, said his company worked with a panel comprised of local residents to assist them with a site plan that will transition Chamblee Plaza into a city center.

“The panel was an outgrowth from a town hall meeting we convened last November that was attended by upwards of 100 local residents," Henzlik told Patch earlier this month. "Since then, we’ve met regularly with seven residents of neighborhoods adjacent to Chamblee Plaza, including Huntley Hills and Sexton Woods."

Henzlik recently spoke to the Chamblee Business Association, saying that he hopes to begin redevelopment efforts by this summer.
