Decatur, DeKalb Schools Make Decision On Tuesday Classes
A winter storm is approaching metro Atlanta, and could bring up to 2 inches of snow throughout the region on Tuesday.

DECATUR, GA -- DeKalb County and City of Decatur schools will be closed Tuesday as a winter storm approaches metro Atlanta that could bring up to 2 inches of snow to the area. Atlanta and Fulton County schools have also announced their closure. DeKalb school officials said a decision regarding cancellations or delays for Wednesday will be made on Tuesday.
According to latest forecast, rain is predicted on Tuesday before 4 pm, then an increasing chance of rain and snow with a high near 43. On Tuesday night, temperatures are expected to plummet to the low 20s, accompanied by a 30 percent chance of snow before 7 pm.
Sunny conditions are forecast for Wednesday, with a high near 43. On Super Bowl Sunday, forecasters are predicting a 30 percent chance of rain, with a high near 57.
