Your daily dose of what's happening in your neighborhood.

1. Don't forget your umbrellas, Brookhaven.  The National Weather Service predicts a forecast of A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.

2. Chef and foodie fan Ray Overton joins Cook's Warehouse with a menu collection from his 2nd cookbook Layers of Flavors. Students will make and then enjoy a basic soufflé as the first course.  In preparation for the warmer weather, next up, a Marbled Melon Soup followed by Turkey Piccata as the main course selection with a side of Lemon and Saffron Risotto with Asparagus Tips.  There's more!  Dessert is a Pear, Black Pepper, and Walnut Tart. Class starts at 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Cost: $65.

3. Come back at 10 a.m. for our weekly feature of Patch called Come back to the site today at 10 a.m. for our video "Patch asked, You answered".
